With the Sigma DM12-1, manufacturer Sigma expands its range with a traditional 12-string dreadnought Western guitar that, thanks to a solid Sitka spruce top, develops a powerful sound that is perfect for strumming and vocal accompaniment.
Due to a laminated mahogany body and large build, frequencies are underpinned with an all-over warmth that perfectly complements the clear tone. To ensure easy playability, the manufacturer installs a flat mahogany neck with low-profile, which is particularly obliging to grip in combination with a nut width of 47.6 mm and a 20-fret Micarta fingerboard.
In addition, a compensated bone saddle, carefully fitted to the fine bone nut, ensures clean intonation over the entire scale length of 645 mm. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners allow for precise tuning of the 12 steel strings and give the Sigma DM12-1 Dreadnought guitar a timeless appearance, which is rounded off in a very tasteful way by a tortoise pickguard, multi-ply bindings and a high-gloss finish.
