I have always been a big fan of Fender offset styled guitars. I have previously owned a Vintage Modified Jaguar HH and when it comes to quality neither of these models have let me down. First impression is basicly a very solid instrument. For the price point, there's very little to complain. I didnt find any sharp frets or flaws in the paint job. For the money these things cost, you cannot go wrong!
I like very much the shorter scale lenght, hence my relatively short fingers. I'm also very pleased with all the sounds this thing can make. The out of phase option has a neat hollow type of a sound for funky rhythm chords and the pickups on itself have good clarity in overall sound.
As someone would have guessed, my only fair complaint is the tremolo system. Yes, it is very cool and simplistic. Basicly it does it's job and I do use the tremolo bar. I still find the whole system a bit wobbly. The bridge saddles also are so-so. They will hold the strings in place if you dont strum that hard and they have screws to set intonation and height.
I might change the bridge at some point, but it's not really a deal breaker. I think of it as a part of the guitar's character.
Would I buy this model again if this was to be lost? Yes I would. Or the one from the Classic Vibe series.
