The Vox VT20X Modelling Amplifier 20W is a Modelling Amplifier and an evolution of the popular Valvetronix Modelling Combo Amps. The Vox VT20X is the smallest Combo Amp with 11x Amp Simulations, 8x Effect Simulations, 4x Reverb Simulations and 20W output, making it ideal for practicing at home. The use of a real tube between pre-amp and power amp ensures particularly accurate reproduction with previously unattainable dynamics and warmth.
Versatile Modelling Engine
The VT20X's all-new Modelling Engine offers a total of 11x simulated Amplifiers whose circuits are modelled down to the smallest detail for an accurate and realistic sound. The Combo delivers a wide range of sounds for every genre from Jazz, Funk and Blues to Classical Rock and modern Metal. In addition, 8x Effect Emulations and 4x Reverbs are available to sculpt the sound. A sophisticated Control Panel ensures nothing stands in the way of intuitive operation, so that the right Guitar sound can be found in no time at all and stored on one of the 8x User Pre-Sets. Finally, 33x tastefully coordinated and editable factory Pre-Sets are available.
20W Output
With 20W of power and an 8" Speaker in a closed cabinet, the Vox VT20X delivers a surprisingly mature sound that is perfect for practicing at room volume, but can also be loud enough for small-scale jam sessions. The tube, which is placed centrally between the pre-amp and power amp, promises a natural dynamic and warmth, which significantly enriches the Guitar sound. The "BIAS Shift" and "Class" buttons can be used to influence the sound character of the tube stage.
