With the DM10 mesh kits, Alesis have upgraded two of their successful drum kits with mesh head technology: the DM10 studio and the DM10X e-drum set. The advantages are clear, the playing noise is reduced to a minimum so that the DM10 drum sets can even be played at home without enraging the neighbours. The mesh head equipped drum pads deliver a very realistic play feeling compared to plastic.
The DM10X e-drum set come with 4 tome pads in total (2x 10“, 2x12“) as well as a 12” snare pad. The cymbal set includes a 12” hihat, two 14” crashes and a 16” ride with 3 playing zones. The stabile X-rack of the DM10X with its premium chrome surface is equipped with integrated cymbal arms and joint clamps.
The DM10 sound module is loaded with 1000 uncompressed drum and percussion sounds with "Dynamic Articulation". This means that the sound is relative to the strike force, this velocity sensitivity ensure for a very realistic play feeling and sound character. A USB connection is included for working with a computer. For precise triggering, each DM10 pad is equipped with 4 pulse generators.

I am very happy with this drum. When first unpacking I was astonished by the quality of the hardware and the kit itself.. of course, there are better options on the market, but for the price, you wont get better. There was only one problem, the kick pad broke after about one month of using, because the connections are too fragile for its purpose, wich is to be beaten.. Hope that Alesis can fix this. The rest is doing fine and Music Store is taking care of replacing the pad.
