The BlackmagicStudio Camera 4K Plus is a compact 4K studio camera and is equipped with a built-in 4/3" sensor for ISO values up to 25,000, an MFT lens mount and a 7" LCD touchscreen with sunshade. It was specifically designed to be the perfect camera for the ATEM Mini. The design offers all the features of a broadcast camera, but the expensive broadcast connectors have been replaced with a more affordable HDMI version. Video is transmitted to the ATEM Mini via the powerful HDMI output. At the same time, signals for camera control, tally and remote trigger recording are routed through it to the camera. So they are quickly set up for any project.
Designed for live productions
Although the Blackmagic Studio Camera is designed for live productions with mixers, it can also be used in other ways. Because it records Blackmagic RAW to USB discs, it comes in handy in all scenarios with tripods. Because of the large 7" viewfinder, the camera is perfect for chat shows, TV productions, news broadcasts, sports, education, conferences and even weddings. The large bright display with side grips, touch screen and buttons makes it easy to follow along with settings while still being comfortable for long periods of time. Because it weighs so little, the camera is ideal for frequent location changes and a wide variety of tasks.

Four connection options
The Blackmagic Studio Cameras can be integrated into setups in numerous ways. HDMI makes all models perfect for HDMI mixers like the ATEM Mini. For broadcast-style workflows, the HDMI connection supports video, tally, control and trigger recording signals over one HDMI cable. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro's 12G-SDI connectors enable the use of SDI mixers such as the ATEM Constellation. The 12G-SDI output is used for the camera feed, while the 12G-SDI input is used for the return program feed. The signals for tally, talkback and remote camera control are included in the return program feed. Via 10G Ethernet, video output, program return, tally, talkback, camera control and power are available via regular Category 6A Ethernet cables.
USB expansion port for accessories
Both Blackmagic Studio Cameras are equipped with a high-speed USB-C expansion port that allows recording to external drives and connection of many accessories. To external USB drives, the camera records high-quality Blackmagic RAW files in 12-bit for later editing and color correction. For editing, simply drag them to a computer without wasting time copying. You can even connect focus and zoom demands for full iris control. Plus, the USB port powers any connected phone or drive.
