The Boss Acoustic Singer Pro Amp is the all-purpose instrument channel with 3-band tone control and a separate mic channel with XLR input and switchable 48V phantom power. In terms of performance, a 100-watt woofer including a 20-watt tweeter is available with a total of outstanding 120 watts, so that even larger venues can be adequately supplied with sound.

The cabinet design of the Acoustic Singer Pro minimizes unwanted resonances such as bass hum or feedback.
Thanks to its 120 watt bi-amp construction, the Acoustic Singer Pro delivers clearly separated signals with maximum transparency. The rather inconspicuous cabinet design also plays a major role here by dampening unattractive resonances, especially in the bass range. Via the instrument channel, the amp is extremely dynamic and captivates with a successful chorus sound, while the microphone channel has its own separate reverb/delay effect. Of course, a 3-band tone control is available for both channels to fine-tune the sound.
Between musician and mixer
Two XLR outputs are available to send the signal to mixers or other recording devices either before or after the Acoustic Pro effects section. Accordingly, performances played via the Acoustic Singer Pro can be recorded directly as live recordings of first-class quality.
The weight of the Singer Pro is the main negative point, so much so, I've had to buy an additional lighter amplifier (a Roland Chorus AC40) for busking which was under half the Singer Pro price and about one third of the weight. The sound of this twin-speaker AC40 amp was at least as good as the Singer Pro. Sadly, the AC40 has been phased out. Singer Pro weight around 15Kg and AC40 5Kg. To be fair, the Singer Pro has a Loop function and a Harmony funtion (both of which I haven't used). Audio Output seems very similar volume. Interestingly the Chorus effect on the Roland AC40 feels more effective and its manual says the Chorus is fed to one speaker with the raw ouput diverted to the other speaker. The manual says this allows mixing of sound outside of the amplifier. I agree. BUT both Boss/Roland . amplifiers are truly excellent but the AC40 has become my favourite. One last thing; the Singer Pro comes with a plastic footswitch ...not mentioned so I bought an additional one.
