With its unbeatable combination of harmonic and standard tremolo, the Chase Bliss Gravitas creates a variety of trem sounds with extensive possibilities for creative modulation. In addition to the well-known tremolo parameters such as effect depth, rate and overall volume, the Gravitas offers a few useful additional functions. Using ModuShape Engine, the LFO of the modulation effect can be precisely processed by selecting the respective half of the waveforms between sine, square and pulse via toggle switch and determining the time ratio between the two wave halves via Sway control.
Tremolo sounds include a standard tremolo and a harmonizing tremolo effect on board the Gravitas. The standard tremolo produces a homogeneous trem sound, while the harmonic tremolo reproduces the incoming signal separated in highs and lows and offset by 180 degrees. Depending on the position of the S/W/H toggle, either Standard and Harmonic Trem are activated separately or even together.
All parameters of the tremolo and modulation can be easily controlled via expression pedals. The front DIP switches determine whether the respective controller is influenced by the expression pedal and whether the effect should increase or decrease from the set value when the pedal is pressed. Last but not least, the Chase Bliss Gravitas offers a connector for midi or tap switches as well as the possibility to store two presets with the lower toggle switch for later use.
