The EBS OctaBass Triple Mode Octave Divider is a triple mode octave divider bass effects pedal that can create a single note one octave below the pitch of the played note. This adds a whole new dimension to your sound. This pedal recognises two or three-note chords and trigger the lowest note. Control the level of the original tone and mix in the octave effect. Choose between High, Mid or Low Range, which relates to the character of the sound of the sub-note. The Studio Edition comes with optimised signal path, a new design, a new signal relay switching technique, protection against overvoltage use up to 18V and the possibility to power the pedal with anything from 9-12V DC.
The main features of the EBS OctaBass Triple Mode Octave Divider include:
Firstly, as far as analog octavers go, this is a great pedal, one of the best out there! Tracking wise it’s pretty good, not absolutely perfect, but does the job well and naturally. You do have the switchable option of high or low focus as well as the tone knob, which also helps. I mainly use it with fuzz for a heavy sub octave feel for riffing, which it works well for. All in all, if you are looking for an analog bass octave pedal, this is it.
