Handwound Texas Special Single Coils & Vintage Modified #2 Wiring
For particularly hot Strat sounds in the style of Southern Blues Rock, three hand-wound Custom Shop Texas Special Strat single coils are used. Thanks to hotter winding, the otherwise classically designed single coils provide an increased Output with present mid-range and the versatile sound palette of the Strat. In addition, the bridge pickup gets its own tone control thanks to Vintage Modified #2 Wiring, while the master Volume with Tone-Saver Bleed ensures unadulterated roll-offs of the volume control.
With gold-anodized pickguard, hardware equipment in nickel & chrome look and heavy-relic finish, the Fender 1959 Stratocaster Roasted MN also offers a visually coherent overall picture.
Classic Hardware & Heavy Relic Finish
Keeping with the spirit of the original '59 Strat, both visually and tactilely, the FenderCustom store relies on traditional nickel & chrome look hardware appointments. For instance, a traditional 6-saddle vintage tremolo provides shimmering pitch modulations, while the six vintage-style tuners contribute to the instrument's distinctive headstock look. Last but not least, the Aged Sherwood Green Metallic nitrocellulose finish with Heavy Relic treatment and a gold-anodized aluminum pickguard provide a cohesive finish to this Custom Shop Stratocaster.
