In addition to the lime body in symmetrical P-Bass design, Fender Japan relies on a bolt-on maple neck, whose slim "Medium C" profile with 38 mm nut width promises agile playing characteristics.

Managed via a 3-way toggle and two volume knobs, the Fender Boxer split-coil and single-coil pickups deliver multi-faceted bass tones ranging from distinctive preci growl to wiry jazz bass transparency.
