Maple neck with slim 'Modern C' feel.
The traditional wood selection of the Player Plus Tele is made up of a solid alder body and robust maple for the neck and fingerboard. A slim Modern C neck profile is used here, which skilfully bridges the gap between a proven Fender feel and sufficient headroom for technically demanding playing. In addition, the modernized 12" radius of the fingerboard provides an ideal foundation for confident chord playing, precise bending and fluid leads.

Player Plus Noiseless Single Coils
Fender The Tele models of the extended Player Plus series are equipped with two Player Plus Noiseless Tele Single Coils based on innovative Noiseless technology. The two single coils combine the unmistakable sound of the Tele Single Coil with convenient ambient noise reduction, evoking the full Tele twang and growl with tonal warmth and without unwanted single-coil hum. The tone pot's push/pull function allows both pickups to be connected in series to create wide-ranging humbucker-style tones.
Deluxe Hardware
Both bridge and tuners stay true to the Telecaster's classic construction but impress with some useful upgrades. For instance, the 6-saddle string-thru-body Tele bridge relies on the traditional large baseplate, while its six-block steel tailpieces greatly improve the resonance transmission of the strings into the body. At the headstock, on the other hand, six Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking tuners provide the classic look and improved tuning stability thanks to a convenient clamping function.
