To mark the 70th anniversary of the legendary Stratocaster, the US guitar manufacturer is presenting the Fender Player Stratocaster PF Anniversary 2-Color Sunburst, a special model that celebrates the earliest Strat models of the golden fifties. As part of the popular Player series, this Stratocaster electric guitar offers tried and tested features in the form of a solid alder body with a bolt-on modern 'C' maple neck and three Fender Player Series Alnico 5 single coils, which faithfully reproduce all the tonal facets of a successful Stratocaster. This special edition is completed by a modernized 2-point tremolo system and six Fender Standard Cast/Sealed tuners, while the 'Anniversary 2-Color Sunburst' high-gloss finish, based on the colour scheme of the very first Stratocasters from 1954, refers to its milestone birthday.
