With the KMA Audio Machines Queequeg 2, the creative effects company from Berlin gives its popular Octaver pedal for guitar, Bass and synthesizer a well-deserved makeover. Named after the harpooner from "Moby Dick", Octaver relies on an analog circuit that generates the first or second sub-octave below the played note and features extremely fast and precise monophonic tracking, so that even fast runs are captured cleanly. Besides adding the first or second sub-octave separately, the effect pedal offers the option to use both at the same time to create especially powerful sounds. Last but not least, the single mix knob in the center of the KMA Queequeg 2 allows you to precisely adjust the ratio of effect and dry signal, with the pure Clean-Sound sounding when turned to the left, while only the effect is heard when turned to the right.
