The Ludwig LB415 Black Beauty Snare 14"x, 6,5" is a legendary brass snare with seamless shell from the legendary Black Beauty series. The LB415 model is constructed with only eight tuning rods instead of the usual ten. This gives you a clear sound and a focused signal. The 1.2 mm thick shell is made from one piece and finished with Black Nickel plating. The Black Beauty series from Ludwig is one of the most popular snare drums ever and the instruments built in the USA now enjoy legendary status. The brass used produces a clear, biting and crisp sound with a balanced overtone and excellent response. The P88AC throw off is smooth and sensitive adjustable. Triple flanged steel hoops and Ludwig Weathermaster heads (Remo) guarantee focused sound and best tunability.
