The M-Live DIVO Base 64 GB at a glance
DIVO from M-Live is a stand-alone multi-format player & recorder for keyboardists, solo entertainers and stage professionals. With DIVO you have the complete backing including MIDI tracks, digital mixer and a USB audio interface in one compact device in front of you. Just plug in a microphone and a USB keyboard and go! Primarily, DIVO is created to play, record and manage various music and media files such as MIDI, MP3, Multitrack Audio (MTA) with 8 tracks, Video MP4 and MOV (in H-264 format). The 64 GB memory has a capacity of about 60,000 media files. Thanks to the large touch display, you always have a good view of all functions and current processes and can make changes quickly. Of course, all backing tracks can be modified; for this purpose DIVO offers a selection of 310 sounds and 20 Drum kits with 250 Percussion sounds. Due to the high polyphony of 240 voices, there should still be enough room for improvement so that no fading notes are swallowed. This makes DIVO a reliable partner for backing-based performances on both a large and small scale, and despite its many functions, it offers good, focused operation.
Mixing and recording in one device
The digital mixer provides access to the two microphones, the line input two internal backing tracks, the click output for the metronome, the aux output and the headphones. In addition, the four-voice vocal harmonizer, reverb, delay and compressor as well as a higher-level equalizer can be set here for the microphones. Depending on the selected setup, an external mixing console can be dispensed with, very practical! A recording function was also thought of. On the one hand, all tracks can be sent via USB to a computer with DAW software, on the other hand, an effectiveinternal possibility for recording is implemented.
Constant supply from the net
DIVO can be connected to the Internet via the Ethernet port and new MTA and MIDI backing tracks can be downloaded from the Song Service website. The range includes tens of thousands of songs and is constantly being expanded. With the separately available M-Pen WIFI adapter, it is also possible to connect to a smartphone or tablet and access the media content. The MTA files are multi-track files that DIVO reads on 8 stereo tracks; backing tracks are organized as follows:
