Marian's Clara E PCIe card is a versatile device that allows up to 512 bi-directional channels, long distance connectivity through low-cost network cables and infrastructure, sample rates up to 192 kHz and scores with auto-configuration. Compared to virtual solutions, the Clara E offers the security of redundancy of two separate network ports and, in conjunction with the reliable PCIe interface, latencies of 1ms.
To guarantee lowest latencies in all software environments, the continuously developed driver suite includes multi-client support for ASIO 2.20 as well as multi-channel WDM audio / WASAPI. This ensures that multiple audio applications can access the sound system simultaneously via the same or different driver interfaces.
Each input signal of the sound system can be routed latency-free to any output and the volume can be adjusted. Thanks to the Beast DSP mixer, up to 64 signals can be merged to 8 sums and played back via any number of outputs without delay. The BEAST mixer also adds playback signals from a DAW. Furthermore, four parametric equalizers are available in each channel for sound processing.
An optional plug-in module serves as a bridge to the classic audio formats and expands the Clara E and AES/EBU, ADAT or analogue interfaces. The signals from these interfaces are also available in the routing and BEast mixer and can thus be integrated into the Dante network.
When using multiple Clara Es in your computer, they are synchronized via TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system versus an ASIO application. The Beast Mixer also allows you to exchange up to 32 audio signals with other Clara sound systems.
