The Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 is a smart keyboard controller featuring 61 keys, a Fatar keyboard, RGB light guide, and MIDI I/O connectivity. With the latest generation of Komplete Kontrol, music-making becomes more intuitive and hands-on so you can perform expressively, browse and preview sounds, tweak parameters, sketch ideas, then navigate and mix your project, all from one fully integrated keyboard controller.
Two high-res colour displays make it easy to browse and preview sounds, tweak controls, and mix and edit your projects from the hardware. An improved layout with more dedicated function buttons and a new four-directional push encoder makes this device more versatile and professional than ever before. The Komplete Kontrol S61 sports ergonomic pitch and mod wheels plus a touch strip for increased creative possibilities.
This is a great keyboard for the money. It was only £90 more than the S49 and it's worth paying the little extra for the bigger keyboard. I was using a Korg M3 88 note as my master keyboard, but wanted a lighter feel and a better link to all my Native Instrument software. It fits the bill nicely.
