The Ormsby Hype GTR 6 from the Run 16 series combines the innovative multiscale construction with a well thought-out design to traverse particularly hard riff areas with plenty of comfort. With a scale length of 25.5" - 27.5", there is plenty of room for deep drop tunings without losing the dynamics of dense Chords or riffs. At the same time, lead solos or fast shredding passages can be performed crisply thanks to the shortened scale length of the high registers. The slim design offers additional comfort: the body is made of mahogany and a flamed maple top - the bolt-on maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. At the heart of the multiscale guitar are the pickups: there is a Hot Rock humbucker in the bridge position and a De La Creme neck humbucker in the neck position. The high Output of both humbuckers enables particularly aggressive high-gain in low tunings, which ensures a massive low-end.
