The XPRS Speaker are all efficient tools for making the best out of your event in any location. They feature flexible utilisation, high quality components and an amazing sound. The following product description referes to the XPRS 12 and shows which specials are included!

XPRS 12
To create a dynamic and natural sound Pioneer used a simple and elegant design consisting of 15mm birch plywood. The rugged enclosure is perfect for any tour and can be used as a floor monitor as well. A special construction of the inner life prevents standing waves inside the box and delivers a much clearer low-mid-playback. Thanks to the 12" speaker and a 1.75" tweeter there is a wide frequency range of 50Hz - 20kHz, enough for most events.

Another efficient aspect is Powersofts Class D amp which reduces power consumption while ensuring reliability and a steady performance in all environments. No matter if there are generators or temporary power supplies - you can always expect the same hight quality sound. The amp convinces with its 1200W (cont.) and 135 dB SPL, too.

Amplifier protection

• Thermal limiting: cuts off to prevent overheating.
• Output overcurrent: reduces the speaker’s output to safe levels in the event of output overcurrent.

Speaker protection

• DC offset removal: shuts down to prevent further damage if the speaker blows.
• Stationary High Frequency Protection: protects the speaker from loud bursts such as feedback.
• Input voltage limiter: Peak and RMS.
• Output voltage limiter: cuts the LF and compression drivers separately when either reaches their peak.

Power protection

• AC mains over-voltage protection: protects against power surges.

Plus the status LED on the front of the cabinet can has three settings – power, limiter or off – giving an optional visual reference to the status of the speaker.

To stay flexible there are some more features like EQ an positioning of the speaker.

You have the choice between 4 EQ settings:

• Flat: neutral production of the source audio
• Bass+: The lower frequencies are boosted (for dance music)
• Speech: produces clear vocal sounds (speeches/seminars)
• Wedge: less bass, more balanced sound if used as monitor

Relating to the position of your speaker it´s possible to set it to straight or tilted to 7 degrees. Moreover the speakers´horn can be rotated for the monitor or pa applications.
