The Roland TD-27K E-Drum Set is a professional kit from the V-Drums series with 728 sounds and Prismatic Sound Modeling technology. The size of the pads and the professional rack create a realistic playing feel. Snare and tom pads each have two zones that can be assigned different sounds. PureAcoustic Ambience technology lets you digitally adjust the acoustic space on the module. WAV samples up to 24 minutes can be transferred to the Roland TD-27K E-Drum Set via SD Card. With the practical Bluetooth function, you can stream songs from your smartphone or laptop directly to the device and play along with them. If you want to expand the TD-27K drum set, there are three external stereo trigger inputs and three digital trigger inputs (USB). Thus it is possible to expand the TD-27K set with the digital PD-140DS snare pad and the digital CY-18DR ride cymbal pad (optionally available). A special feature is the integrated 28-channel USB audio interface, because music can be produced directly via the module. In addition to the Master Out, there are two assignable Direct Outs that can be used to send individual sounds directly to the mixer - perfect for live use.
The Roland TD-27KV electric drum set offers professional functions and intuitive control structure. The Prismatic Sound Modeling function was adopted from the flagship TD-50, so every instrument sounds lifelike and natural. The TD-27 supports the digital Roland pads, so high-resolution multi-sensor triggering is possible for snare and ride pad, these are NOT included in TD-27K version. Via SD card up to 500 own WAV samples (24 minutes mono/12 minutes stereo) can be loaded into the module. As with the TD-17, the Roland TD-27K E-Drum Set has a Bluetooth interface, which can be used to stream directly from your smartphone to the module. Thanks to the PureAcoustic Ambience technology, the room can be digitally changed, and an overhead microphone simulator and studio-quality effects are also available for editing the drum sounds.
If you produce music professionally with a DAW, you can use the Roland TD-27K E-Drum Set module as a 28-channel USB audio interface. Two direct outputs create ideal conditions for live use, so you can route the snare and kick, for example, or use the module as an in-ear monitoring station. With the three additional stereo trigger inputs, the Roland e-drum set can be expanded, and three digital trigger inputs are also free, so the Roland PD-140DS and CY-18DR digital pads can be connected (optionally available). Of course, a MIX IN and a headphone output are also provided as standard. In addition to the dedicated MIDI inputs and outputs, MIDI data can also be transmitted via the USB connection to synchronize the kit with other MIDI devices or trigger software drums from the computer.
All drum pads on the TD-27K are covered with professional meshheads from Roland. They offer realistic feel and excellent rebound. The two crash cymbals (CY-12C) have two zones and an accurate stop function, and the CY-13R ride cymbal pad even has three assignable playing zones. Specially designed damping in the KD-10 kickpad minimizes unwanted vibrations and thus unnecessary volume. The VH-10 HiHat also produces realistic response, thanks to the separation of bow and edge areas and the floating design, which allows the VH-10 to be mounted on any conventional stand (optionally available). The three PDX-8 tom pads and the PDX-100 snare pad each offer dual zones, i.e. separate rim and head assignments.
