The Toontrack Fretless EBX is an expansion library for the EZbass. The Fretless EBX library convinces with extreme detail and distinctive sound characteristics, which was made possible by a complex sampling process.

In addition, various presets are used, which steer the sound in preferred directions thanks to internal EQ (EQ, compressor, etc.). From warm and round to high quality bright/transparent or distorted! There is also a large selection of useful and common MIDI basslines for playing with the fretless bass.

Due in no small part to such notable musicians as Sting, Les Claypool, Bernard Odum, Pino Palladino, Gary Willis and, of course, Jaco Pastorius, the fretless bass enjoys a prominent position in the collection of stringed instruments - its unique sound is revered and its technical demands for playability are feared. The Fretless EBX offers thisdistinctive sonic character in all its dynamic and tonal richness as an essential addition to the EZbass platform.
