U-Phoria UMC22 in a video
Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 at a glance
The UMC22 is a USB audio interface with 2 inputs and outputs, among which a mic/line input is included. This has on the one hand an excellent MIDAS Mic Preamp and on the other hand a phantom power of +48V. It is suitable as an audio interface for home recording applications, on the road to quickly record a new idea or for studio and live recording. The Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 also features a good sound quality with a resolution of 16Bit/48kHz.
bought this audio interface as a lockdown was imminent, especially in the big smoke. I always put off buying equipment to start recording, and I regret it. this piece of equipment is great for entry level recording, great quality for the price with minor latency. abelton gave me a free download for live 10 lite with proof of purchase too. highly recommended if you're on a budget. and don't forget to peel the plastic off the front display - it's not damaged, you need to peel the protection off
Seemed to work fine so far - a little bit quiet perhaps - somewhat confusing having only the left or right channel audio until you work out how to tell apps it is mono - would be nice if it put the same audio down both left and right
