The Crazy Tube Circuits Golden Ratio is an extensive compressor effect pedal in studio quality. Equipped with an optical compressor with hand-selected photocell and a FET compressor, the pedal provides full control over signal peaks and dynamic behaviour. The former provides characteristic attack behaviour, while in FET mode a highly customizable compressor with controls for Attack and Release is available. The key to success for wide and powerful sounds is the parallel compression, which mixes the compressed signal with the dry signal via a Blend control. Accordingly, the Golden Ratio is not only suitable for guitar, but also for bass, keyboards and other studio purposes.
