The DR DBG-9/50 Dimebag Darrell Electric Guitar Strings is a set of 6-string electric guitar strings that are a Dimebag Darrell signature edition with nickel-plated coating on a hexagonal core and a gauge of .009-.050. In Dimebag Darrell own words, he has been playing the "strings of strength since 1995" as he "[likes] the way DR Strings feel and the way they react".
He believes that they are "great for everything, from big [old] string bends, to whammy bar dives, [to] blood curdling harmonic screams and just straight out heavy chunky [riffing]". He also greatly appreciates how well they stay in tune and remain fresh and bright for such a long time. This longevity is facilitated by StringLife, the coating of which enhances the tone and life length of these strings.
