Divison 6 VM is a level meter module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module enables the exact display of the voltage of individual signals. But it has LEDs on the front that work in four different modes. They light red at positive voltage and blue at negative voltage. Maximum voltage is -12.9V and +12.9V. Since the module is buffered, no voltage is lost.
Four modes
The four modes are called Bar Mode, Dot Mode, Precision Mode and Precision Dot Mode. In bar mode, all LEDs light up until the actual voltage of the signal is reached. In dot mode, an LED lights up to indicate which is the nearest volt number. In Precision Bar Mode, like in Bar Mode, all LEDs light up to the Volt number, except that one LED flashes and displays the first decimal place. In Precision Dot Mode, two LEDs light up simultaneously. The continuous light shows the voltage and the flashing one the decimal place.
