The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson ES-335 (Cherry) is a 6-String Electric Guitar taken from the Inspired by Gibson Series, and an ES Original. The ES-335 is a Semi-Hollow model that has been appreciated by guitarists for over six decades, and employs a selection of classic woods, official forms and high-quality components are brought together in this Series to meet the high standards of the original. 2x Alnico Classic Pro Humbuckers provide a wide sonic bandwidth with a warm and resonant semi-hollow character, whilst the Mahogany Neck with its authentic Rounded-C Neck Profile gives you a pure ES feeling. The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson ES-335 also has a lot to offer in terms of Hardware, with the resonant combination of LockTone Bridge and Stop-Bar alongside a Graph Tech Saddle.

Semi-Hollow Body with Solid Centre Block

The special Semi-Hollow Body Design of the ES-335 is clearly its trademark, both visually and sonically. Modelled on a Maple Laminate Body with a Solid Centre Block inside for creamy Sustain and reduced susceptibility to Feedback. This special construction makes the ES-335 extremely versatile and a reliable Instrument for both articulate Clean Sounds and hot Overdrive. The ES-335 Body is finished off with a traditional Cream Binding on its edge.

Alnico Classic Pro Humbucker

2x Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro Humbuckers in Neck and Bridge Position are responsible for the output of the ES-335 and skilfully cover an enormous variety of sonic possibilities. The twin Coils, which are clearly based on the legendary PAF Humbuckers of the coveted Gibson models, deliver a defined Mid-Range with moderate presence and allow the warm character of the Semi-Hollow Construction to flow into the Sound Image. Both Pick-Ups have separate Volume and Tone Controls from the US electronics expert CTS.
