Since 1984 Fender has been building the American Standard Stratocaster. This "slow-burner" has changed over the years and many small details in respect to handling and sound quality have been improved. What makes this upgrade so special is, above all, that it is equipped with Custom Shop Fat 50s Single-coils, which have been the popular pickups on many Custom Shop guitars and have lent the electric sound significantly more character. Further improvements have been made to the Tremolo. The new vintage style, steel string guides feature lengthened slits. The tremolo block is cast partially with copper and the under-side of the tremolo base is refined with a significantly thinner layer of chrome, in order to achieve better resonating characteristics. The maple neck is toned darker in the name of vintage style and is equipped with "aged plastic parts" to produce an all-round, classic aesthetic.

Fender American Standard Stratocaster MN BlackEste es mi segundo pedido a Music Store y la verdad que todo perfecto, la guitarra muy bien embalada y en 5 días llego el pedido a casa..
Bueno yendo al grano, la guitarra tiene un acabado perfecto en todos los aspectos,, su sonido es espectacular sobre todo en la pastilla del mástil, que tiene un sonido muy gordo y cálido, sin desmejorar las otras dos pastillas, que también suenan bastante bien, la posición 2 suena super limpio y cristalino..
La guitarra no desafina incluso trabajando bastante el tremolo.. El mastil es super manejable para ser una fender.
El único inconveniente es que tuve que quintárla y ajustarla a mi manera yó, estas guitarras deberían de venir por lo menos mejor quintadas, porque lo de ajustarla, cada uno debería ajustarlas a su manera.... Por lo demás todo perfecto.. Merece la pena tener una guitarra de estas, porque tiene un sonido único para tocar ciertos estilos de música.

DIt is een heerlijke strat! De nek is perfect, het lichaam past perfect op het jouwe, de tremolo is heerlijk soepel,... Kortom, een droom om op te spelen! Zelf ben ik wel niet zo voor de Fat 50s die er er sinds 2012 insteken, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijke smaak. De fat 50s hebben iets meer bas, maar dus ook minder treble en attack. Voor de rest is dit echt een perfecte strat. Het is de American Standard, dus het een échte strat!
Very comfortable neck, plays very smoothly. I especially like the smoothed fret edges, which feel very nice in the hand. It has all the classic tones youd expect from a Strat. Pickups are really good toi. I think that Fender guitars have never been as good as now!
