The Gretsch G2420T Streamliner Bigsby GD Electric Guitar featuring a single cutaway laminated maple semi hollow body, reduced size centre block, Rosewood fingerboard, B60 Bigbsy Tailpiece Broad’Tron humbuckers and a Gold Dust Finish.
The rosewood fingerboard offers players of all abilities a comfortable playing experience with an action that does not tire the fingers and maintains precise intonation over long periods of time while the B60 Bigsby Tailpiece allows further control over articulation and expression.
The tone of this instrument is derived from a pair of Gretsch Broad’Tron humbuckers with each offering independent volume control of one another. These are known to deliver a rich warm tone perfectly capable of complimenting more elaborate fingerpicking techniques to bluesy leads and chugging riffs.
In the 50s, the 6189, 6190 and 6191 Streamliners descended directly from the early ‘50s Electromatic. Along with the lower-priced Clipper they were the primary models shoring up the bottom end of the Gretsch line.
Today, and new for 2016, this line of guitars puts Gretsch Quality and build into the hands of the more budget conscious.

I bought the guitar to reboot my playing after 20 years and I only based on reviews. Was thrilled with quality and price relationship. Tuners are very nice, the nut is quite nice too. With 50-100 euros of minor upgrades, this is a pro grade.
The Gretsch guitar is a thing of beauty which I love playing. Thank you to dv247 for great service.
I ordered a gretsch guitar because I’ve played the 6120 Duane eddy model some time ago and I’ve followed Duane since I was 9 years old up to the present day out of the box my gretsch candy apple guitar it was stunning the feel of it was just like the original the quality was brilliant the sound like most guitar s of this style you can get feedback but you can sort this out I put it through my amp it sounds great I use up to 46s Duane plays around 54s so all in all this guitar is well worth the money
this guitar blew me away when i opened it if i had not paid for it myself i would have thought it cost over a thousand it has a great finish as i said its a better finish than a lot of guitars costing a lot more.
Looks good, feels good, sounds good ! Excellent product at a great price which can only make me a better player and have a great deal of enjoyment along the way ! Found DV247 easy to deal with and the ordering process was straight forward. Would recommend both the guitar and the retailer DV247. Off to practice and Thank you all.
