The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr Double-Cut Bigsby Coral is a practical semi-acoustic electric guitar with comfortable handling and a wide sound spectrum between Blues and rock. The compact semi-hollow body with solidcentre block, together with Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups, promises a warm and woody tone character for characterful clean and overdrive sounds, while the Bigsby Vibratocontributes shimmering embellishments. The set Nato neckin a soft 'C' profile also promises comfortable playing characteristics up to the highest registers.
Both sonically and visually, the Gretsch G2655T Streamliner CB Jr in Coral offers an absolute vintage feel.
Due to the soft 'C' profile, which is not too strong, the glued Nato neck offers comfortable playability of all positions of the 22-fret Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Semi-Hollow guitar with practical body.
The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Jr pays special attention to comfortable playing characteristics without denying the typical sound characteristics. With its compact dimensions, the semi-acousticbody promises optimal hassle-free handling both on the strap and on the thigh. The classic construction with a laminated maple top, back and sides and a solid spruce centre block also promises a resonant sound that does not tend to feedback even at high volumes.
The coil-split function of the Push/Pull Tone control can be used to elicit dazzling single-coil sounds from the semi-hollow guitar.
Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups with flexible circuitry
As pickup Gretsch chooses two in-house Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers. The pickups, which are perfectly matched to the semi-hollow construction, promise a surprisingly powerful sound that skillfully captures the guitar's pleasant woody timbre and is suitable for both full clean sounds and juicy distortion Overdrive. Gretsch also equips the electric guitar with a flexible 3-way circuit that provides separate volume controls for each pickup, a Master-Volume and treble control.

Last but not least, Gretsch completes the G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr Double Cut Bigsby Coral guitar with high-quality hardware that combines traditional looks with unbeatable reliability. The tailpiece here is the classic Bigsby B-50 Vibrato Tailpiece, which, thanks to buttery-smooth handling, can be used to educate shimmering pitch bends to embellish melodies and chords. The Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge on the body guarantees precise intonation and string action adjustment. At the headstock furthermore, Gretsch Die-Cast tuners provide exact tuning with high stability.
Received the guitar about 4 days after ordering, well packaged so for it not to be damaged, which it wasn’t. Received the Carry case a few days later. Perfectly happy with the order and the guitar. It’s well manufactured and feels, looks and plays just great.

Gretsch's roots in brighter tones are clear here even though the guitar performs at its best with high gain. Perfect for punk rock/ alternative and a myriad of genres.

It took me a month to get this due to Brexit delays but it was worth it, the guitar is beautifully built and sounds great. I never thought I would own a Gretsch but for this price its amazing. The only down side i would say on this guitar is the master volume , its either all or nothing , the volume doesn’t come in until its almost full on. Ill probably change that at a later date. The rest is perfect, all I had to do was tune it. It was set up quite low but can go lower if you want ,and the intonation was already perfect , so just plug it in and play it.
