Instruo - cèis [2] Overview
Cèis 2 from Instruo is an analog ADSR envelope with a few special features. The faders visualize the course of the envelope based on their position. In addition, the progression over time is visualized by the built-in LEDs. The envelope shape is infinitely variable from linear to exponential. The trigger behavior can be switched between gate and trigger, which has an effect on the sequence of each pass. Each of the four time phases can be modulated with a control voltage, so you could, for example, use a BPM-synchronized LFO to cyclically lengthen and shorten the decay phase. Each envelope phase is also equipped with an end-of-phase output. This can be used to synchronize other modules or switch through functions. The combined Gate output combines the four individual end-of-phase outputs. Version 2 is equipped with a new logic extraction, which allows the module to be used as a VC slew limiter in hold mode if a control voltage is applied to the input instead of a Gate. In addition, there is now a retrigger input to prevent the attack phase from being retriggered.
