AE-Jr. style with cutaway, solid okoume top, laminated mahogany body, pickup system, chrome-plated die-cast tuners, bag included.
With the Ibanez AE245JR-OPN the Japanese manufacturer Ibanez expands its product range with a compact steel-string guitar that is perfect for use on the road or on stage. Thanks to a solid Okoume top, this wonder of sound develops a powerful and warm tone, which is especially pronounced in the mid frequencies and, due to a wafer-thin open-pore finish, is quick and long-lasting. A short mahogany neck with a Katalox fingerboard offers enough space to easily master even extensive fingerings despite a short scale length of 607 mm. For a clean intonation, the manufacturer relies on a 43 mm wide bone saddle, which is perfectly adapted to the corresponding compensated bridge inlay due to its fine notch. An extensive Wooden Vine inlay adorns the dark fingerboard and gives the outer appearance a very noble touch, which is further emphasized by the matt finish and the fine grain of the wood. The instrument is rounded off by an in-house Ibanez T-Bar-Undersaddle pickup and a carrying bag.
A compact acoustic guitar for on the road including pickup system and bag.
