Ibanez Standard RG Electric Guitar with two Quantum Humbuckers and Wizard III Maple Neck
The Ibanez RG421EX 6-String Electric Guitar in Black Flat is a hardtail equipped RG metal machine that has been purpose built to play one type of music.
The Ibanez RG421EX features a Mahogany body that, as its name suggests, has been carved into the brands iconic RG shape which allows for unparalleled upper fret access. This is joined by a flat and fast Wizard III Maple neck that is topped with a 24-fret bound Rosewood fingerboard with White dot inlays.
The body of the Ibanez RG421EX is fitted with a pair of Quantum humbucker pickups that are more than capable of producing the kind of tones that a guitar of this calibre deserves. They are joined by a simple control setup that consists of a blade-style pickup selector switch and master volume and tone controls. Completing the hardware selection is fixed bridge that allows for quick and easy string changes and also helps to improve the tone and sustain of the guitar.

This guitar has a nice pitch and a wonderful playability, it is light, comes with a very fast slim neck and yes, i love the body and woods chosen. In my opinion, the pickups are decent and this is all you need in order to achieve wonderful results on a studio.

Best price, and guitar was set up ready to play out of the b
Superbly packaged guitar, which was neatly packed with some other products I purchased at the same time. Delivery was very fast and I received emails telling me the day it would be delivered which was useful.
Very happy with the guitar - It had a hand signed signature saying that it had received a set up by staff prior to dispatch. The intonation was spot on out of the box. This store also offered the guitar at the most competitive price I could find online. Great service, have saved to my favourites for my next guitar related purchase. Thank you!

If you’re looking for an entry level guitar that looks the business and sounds great, then look no further. For the price you’re getting a guitar that looks and sounds more expensive. Visually the matte finish and crimson fade look flawless. The pickups are surprisingly good, definitely better than expected, this guitar practically begs you to shred until your fingers drop off. At this price point you expect some compromises, the nut is cheap plastic, and the pickups can sound a bit muddy / lacking in character. In my opinion any beginner would feel satisfied with this guitar, and when you outgrow it, could make a good base for modding, I’ve got my eyes on a GraphTek nut and bare knuckle passive pickups!
