Jackson Pro Plus XT Soloist Baritone HT6 Satin Black electric guitar at a glance
The limited edition Jackson Pro Plus XT Soloist Baritone WR HT6 in a beautiful satin black finish not only impresses with its unique look but also delivers a brute sound that will prove its worth in rough genres from hard rock to metal. Two Seymour Duncan pickups ensure that high-gain distortion and lead solos are ideally transported with plenty of Sustain. The Nyatoh body carries a full-length, three-strip maple neck with a compound radius of 12" - 16" and 24 jumbo frets, offering plenty of room for fast riffs and rough shredding. With a baritone scale length of 27", deep drop tunings can be played cleanly, making the Soloist Baritone particularly suitable for all metal sub-genres that insist on particularly low pitches.
The limited edition Jackson Pro Plus XT Soloist Baritone HT6 Satin Black not only looks unique, it also brings out the most aggressive nuances in any high-gain amp.
Stable Hardware for deep metal realms
The Jackson Pro Plus XT Kelly Baritone WR HT6 is equipped with an all-black Hardware, from the volume pot to the 3-way killswitch in arcade style. In addition to sturdy Jackson Sealed die-cast tuning machines and the Graph Tech TUSQ saddle, the electric guitar is complemented by an HT-6 hardtail bridge, which enables uncomplicated and quick string changes. Furthermore, the Soloist Baritone is equipped with strings in gauges .013 - .062, which guarantees plenty of Sustain and reliable grip for the deepest tunings. This makes the limited edition Jackson Pro Plus XT Kelly Baritone a heavy metal axe that offers all the advantages for hardcore genres and the deepest metal realms.
Two Seymour Duncan pickups pave the way for an aggressive sound.
Seymour Duncan pickups
For an assertive metal sound, the two Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver an aggressive timbre. In detail, there is a Seymour Duncan Sentient humbucker in the neck position, while the Seymour Duncan Nazgûl humbucker in the bridge position causes a sensation. Both humbuckers are not only characterized by decent low-end and rough mids for low Chords and riffs, but also leave plenty of room for a dynamic treble spectrum when it comes to brutal shredding and extroverted lead solos.
The guitar arrived well packaged. The musicstore took an extra QC look at it before sending it. That was nice The setup and intonation was great. The guitar plays super fast. The action came super low and comfy. The stainless steel frets feel smooth. No raised frets. No grounding noises, no noisy switches or post. Overall a great guitar. I really enjoy playing it.
If I need to provide some cons: The string ferrules were not glued on There were some tiny glossy spot on the matte finish on the headstock. I don't know how they got there but they are barely visible.
