The Jackson X Series Signature Marty Friedman MF-1 was developed together with the American shred legend and convinces accordingly with an extremely smooth playability and an extremely hot sound. With Nato for the body and mahogany for the glued neck, proven woods are used for a powerful sound, while the passive EMG MF pickups with high output and precise sound reproduction are convincing. The Jackson Marty Friedman Signature electric guitar is completed by indestructible hardware in the form of Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar and locking mechanisms.

Marty Friedman is a big fan of the classic Singlecut design, which is of course also used on his Jackson MF-1 Signature. The body is made of NATO, while the neck is made of mahogany. This combination provides a rich pressure in the sound without affecting the definition of the tone. With the typical "Speed Neck" profile, the Jackson MF-1 also offers a high level of playing comfort that lets even the most complex solos go almost by themselves on the rosewood fingerboard.
The electrical sound conversion of the Jackson X Series Signature Marty Friedman MF-1 is done by the EMG MF Signature Set, which was developed in close collaboration between Friedman and the Californian pickup company. Consisting of two passive humbuckers with Alnico V magnets, it delivers a hot but clear sound that can sing with an angelic voice or scream like an unleashed demon. The pickups are controlled by a classic circuit with 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls.
Last but not least, the Jackson X Series Signature Marty Friedman MF-1 is equipped with high-quality hardware that combines classic looks with indestructible functionality. The body is equipped with the proven combination of Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position. In addition, Jackson Top-Locking tuners on the headstock ensure precise tuning with high stability and easy string changes.
