The Lindy A/D Analogue to S/PDIF Converter is a compact analogue to digital converter for converting digital coax or optical to analogue audio stereo. This neat little converter features both optical SPDIF and digital coaxial input ports and supports uncompressed digital audio input only.
This very useful device can convert either digital optical TosLink or coaxial SPDIF signals to analogue stereo left and right phono output ports. Both optical and coaxial cables can be connected at the same time and a simple switch determines which signal is active.
The main features of the Lindy A/D Analogue to S/PDIF Converter include:

Lindy Analog - Digital Converter RCA - SPDIF opt./coax.
This piece of hardware does what its supposed to. I bought to add 2 extra channels to my audio interface via spdif. Haven´t noticed any degradation on sound and no extra latency. The price is awesome for a piece that can add two extra channels to my interface. The only downside is it only allows 48khz/24bit protocol. It would be amazing it could handle 96khz sample rate.
