With the EBW 808 OM the Australian guitar forge Maton offers a compact and all-massive Western guitar with a body completely made of Blackwood stainless steel. Accordingly, the Blackwood construction provides full bass, strong mid-range and bright treble. Gerade The mid-range frequencies are of convincing assertiveness and are highly appreciated by fingerstylers.

The chrome-plated Grover Rotomatic tuners provide a stable tuning, while the compensated bridge insert made of bone ensures optimum resonance transmission and a flat string position.

A special Fokus emphasis has been placed on the amplification of the acoustic sound. That's why Maton Guitars rely exclusively on pickup creations from their own company. Instrument preampdesign and pickup will be done by the Maton AP5-Pro Pickup perfectly matched to each other. Only in this way can an acoustic guitar sound alive, dynamic and powerful, even at very high volumes, just as only a Maton guitar can sound.
