The M 990 in use in the microphone spider
Large diaphragm condenser microphone with tube technology.
The Microtech M 990 has a cardioid pickup pattern and a large noise floor due to a high transfer factor. The tube technology ensures that the microphone has a warm and full sound, making it perfect for recording vocals, podcasts and radio plays. In addition, it can also be used as a support microphone for orchestral recordings. The M 990's pressure gradient receiver uses a handmade, large-area, gold-coated plastic diaphragm. The operating voltage of the M 990 is provided by the included power supply via XLR cable, and it can be operated with 155V or with 230V.
