The OKKO FX Dominator MkII Red shines through todays oversaturated market of overdrive pedals with its natural sounding gain structure and juicy attack for crunchy blues and rock sounds as well as modern high gain metal.
Alongside the active 3-band tone controls a Frequency switch is included which provides effective and intuitive control over the Dominator's tone. The internal Voltage Doubler also adds the option to double the operating voltage to 18V for more headroom, which is particularly useful for attaining a more amp-like overdrive/distortion.
New to the MkII Dominator pedal is a Noisegate that can be used to set either a fast and hard or soft and organic gate, allowing for a cleaner and crisper sound even at high gain settings without having to buy another pedal.
