Flexible all-round PRS for Studio and stage
With the PRS Studio Eriza VerdePaul Reed Smith sends an extremely flexible electric guitar into the race, which advances by the first-class handling and a broad sound image to the ideal all-round instrument for stage and Studio. While the design inspired by the Custom 22 offers the usual PRS appointments in the form of a grippy "pattern" neck and a doublecut body with solid flamed maple top, the pickup setup consisting of a 58/15 LT humbucker and two narrow-field pickups leaves no sound wish unfulfilled. Naturally, PRS Guitars completes the Studio Eriza Verde electric guitar with the proven Gen III Tremolo and tuning stable Phase III Locking tuners from our own house.
The PRS Studio Eriza Verde is a flexible all-round guitar with first-class playing characteristics for stage and studio.
The glued mahogany neck in "pattern" profile promises first-class playing characteristics from the lowest to the highest register.
Traditionally built PRS guitar
The construction of the PRS Studio Eriza Verde naturally follows the proven Marylander construction method to achieve a lively, harmonically balanced sound and first-class playing characteristics. The mahogany body in the typical PRS double-cut design carries a solid curly maple top, while the glued neck is made of mahogany and a rosewood fingerboard with the coveted Bird inlays. The not-too-strong "Pattern" neck profile also promises the best conditions for smooth implementation of classic and modern playing techniques of any genre.
Two PRS Narrowfield pickups and a PRS 58/15 LT humbucker provide a comprehensive sound on the guitar amplifier.
Versatile sound for stage and studio
A flexible all-round guitar for gigs and recording sessions, the PRS Studio impresses with flexible guitar tones for almost any genre. In bridge position, the popular PRS 58/15 LT Vintage-Style humbucker not only delivers powerful tones for bluesy and rocking overdrive but also the unmistakable punch and bite of a bridge single-coil thanks to the coil-split option. In the neck and middle positions, on the other hand, narrow PRS Narrowfield pickups promise the bass- and treble-driven snap of classic single-coils, without extraneous noise clouding the top-notch performance. The pickups of the PRS Studio are controlled via a classic circuit with a 5-way switch and general volume and tone controls.
Lightweight Phase III locking tuners keep the PRS Studio electric guitar securely in the correct tuning.
Typical PRS hardware equipment
Last but not least, PRS relies on the proven hardware equipment for the Studio Eriza Verde guitar, which also completes professional tours and recording sessions with unlimited functionality and reliability. On the body, the buttery-soft PRS Gen III tremolo promises not only harmonic vibrato embellishments for melodies and chords, but also precise intonation and string action adjustment via the six individually adjustable tailpieces. Smooth, edge-free surfaces also provide the hand with a comfortable rest for palm mutes and similar playing techniques. Made of a material specially developed for PRS, the nut for the strings with a nearly straight course to the PRS Phase III Locking tuners that keep the electric guitar securely in the correct tuning.
