The Paiste Signature Mellow Crash 17" is a handmade Swiss crash cymbal in traditional finish and delivers a soft warm sound with crisp attack. Made from Paistes patented Signature Bronze, the Mellow Crash is shaped by experienced cymbal makers and gets its own sound signature. As the name "Mellow Crash" suggests, the sound character is rather warm and soft. Thanks to the medium thin cymbal strength, even low frequencies are well covered and a full sound is created. Nevertheless with a crisp attack and compact sustain, the Crash sound can be used precisely and is especially suitable for a rather quiet playing, but also for smaller gigs, in clubs, churches or bars for example.
