Quadrature Sine Oscillator with Waveshaper & SVF Filter
Schlappi Engineering's Angle Grinder is a sine-based quadrature oscillator with wave shaper and state variable filter. The four phase-related (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) sinusoidal outputs are each followed by a mixable waveshaper, which acts equally on all of them. In the Waveshaper, each sine angle is folded, bent, superimposed and also distorted to create new timbres. The voltage controlled state variable filter processes the spectrum with lowpass, bandpass, highpass or invbandpass and expands it with sound-relevant details. Optional and mixable(!) to the oscillator there is an audio input, the result tends to be rather violent.
