The Shure SM4 is the ideal choice for home studio recordings that demand professional results. With its 1-inch brass dual diaphragm, it captures sound sources with the highest precision, from soft vocals to loud instruments such as drums or guitar amps. The exceptional SPL processing of up to 140 dB ensures that even extreme volumes can be handled with ease.

Thanks to the cardioid polar pattern, the SM4 offers effective off-axis noise suppression and reduces the proximity effect. The integrated Interference Shielding Technology protects recordings from disruptive high-frequency interference from wireless devices such as smartphones and WLAN routers. This enables clear and undisturbed audio playback.

The SM4 is equipped with an integrated pop filter, which ensures plosive-free recordings and significantly reduces post-processing work. Optionally, the microphone can be supplemented with the external pop filter, which together with the internal filter forms an effective two-stage system.

The robust metal construction of the SM4 ensures a long service life and makes it an unobtrusive and elegant addition to any setup.
