The Slate Digital ML-1 matte black is an innovative microphone that can recreate the sound characteristics of various legendary microphones and preamps through virtual modeling. With the ML-1, you can be flexible and creative in your recordings without being tied to a single microphone. The ML-1 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with a gold-plated 6-micron capsule and a high-quality FET circuit that provides a linear, flat and clean output for emulation. The microphone has a cardioid polar pattern and requires 48V phantom power.
The software is compatible with Windows and Mac and runs as a VST, AU or AAX plugin in your DAW. With the ML-1 you can emulate the classic Neumann/Telefunken U47, Neumann U67, Neumann M7, Sony 800, Telefunken/AKG C12 and Telefunken Elam 251, among others12. The Slate Digital ML-1 is therefore a versatile and powerful microphone that offers the possibility to customize the sound of the recordings according to the user's wishes.
The microphone is supplied with a microphone spider, two spare rubber bands and a license for the modeling software.
