A few studios are famous not only for the recordings that took place in them alone, but furthermore for the fact that new impulses were given to the course of music history in them. Within four studio walls, something like magic can actually take place. If you were to ask Aretha Franklin, Etta James or Otis Redding, they would certainly be happy to confirm immediately that there is something very special about this little Studio in the rural community of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. A place of SOUL - true Southern SOUL: Fame Studios.

Under the tutelage of legendary Swampers guitarist Jimmy Johnson, with the original recording equipment and mic placements used back in the day, the Southern Soul EZX resurrects the unmistakable sound of soul. Dense, well-defined and warmly distorted drums - in the characteristic spatial ambience of the Fame studios. This EZX includes a total of 5 complete drum sets and two different recording setups. One of them uses exclusively mono miking, the other is recorded in common Stereo. In addition, the vocals, guitar, piano and upright Bass microphones record the crosstalk of the drum set at their native positions in the recording room, a special and unique recording technique of Fame Studios to simulate the feeling of the live sound of a band.
