Yamaha FG 800 NT Natural

Dreadnought with solid spruce top, sides and back from Nato and Okume

Yamaha's Go-To acoustic guitars from the popular FG series have received some useful updates with the 800 generation. First, the conventional bracing has been reworked and tapered at essential points. This so-called "Scalloped Bracing", in cooperation with a wafer-thin finish, provides a more intense sound with improved resonance and radiance. In addition, a solid spruce top on a body of Nato and Okume provides an open-sounding basic character with warm basses, nuanced mids and brilliant treble. This makes the Yamaha FG 800 ideal for powerful vocal accompaniment with strumming or flatpicking. In addition, the chrome-plated die-cast tuners keep the tuning precise, while a compensated bridge inlay of urea keeps the intonation clean and the strings flat.
