Note: iLok 2 or 3 required to use emulations as native plug-ins in your DAW
A next-generation modeling microphone with impressive recording capabilities that lets you get creative using the sound of more than a dozen classic microphone models. The Edge Note is the perfect studio solution for recording a wide range of musical instruments. Thanks to its exceptionally high SPL and additional features such as pad attenuation and high-pass filter, the Edge Note is the ideal choice for instrumentalists, sound engineers and studio operators looking for a flexible, high-quality and affordable recording tool.
The Edge Note takes on the character of some of the best small-diaphragm microphones available, delivering amazing detail and realism. A total of 13 microphone emulations reproduce the sound of legendary microphones used in the best recordings of the last century. They can be used in real time with an Antelope interface (via Synergy Core Processing). If the user does not have an Antelope interface, native plug-in emulation is available for any DAW and the microphone emulations can be easily applied to the dry audio recording. However, in this case iLok 2 or 3 is required to use emulations as native plug-ins in your DAW.
The Edge Note's flat frequency response delivers an exceptionally clean signal. Recording the smallest details of an acoustic guitar or a graceful cello becomes an easy task.
The neutral capture of audio signals without dramatically boosting frequencies across the spectrum ensures that microphone emulations are as close as possible to the emulated original microphone when in use.
