The Aguilar AG 700 V2 Head at a glance:
With the Aguilar AG 700 V2 Head, the New Yorker Company presents the latest version of its popular AG 700 bass amplifier, which sets new standards with its dynamically responsive sound and rich power and draws sufficient volume reserves for every gig from its Class D power amplifier with up to 700 watts of power. The head offers a 4-band tone control for precise adjustment of the sound image, which is enhanced by a bright and deep switch to emphasize the corner frequencies. External effects devices can also be integrated into the signal path via the serial effects path, while the new practical features are particularly useful for studio and live use: Firstly, the dual D.I. outputs offer two balancedXLR outputs that can be used simultaneously and are equipped with pre- and post-EQ as well as ground lift switches, allowing flexible use when routing with PAs or mixing consoles. On the other hand, the USB-C interface ensures easy integration of IRs. This allows the amp to be used with the AGUILAR Cabinet Suitesoftware to load the SL/DB cabinet IRs created by Aguilar onto the amp - naturally, custom IR files can also be used for cabinet emulation to output authentically emulated cabinets either via the two D.I. outputs or via the headphone output.
