Aodyo Sylphyo EX-Demo without wireless receiver!

Aodyo Instruments’ Sylphyo is the first wireless controller to behave exactly like a real wind instrument.

The patented Air-Column technology opens up an impressive dynamic range and precise controls. Gesticulated expressions can be realized thanks to a slider directly attached to the thumb, by means of which arbitrary parameters can be seamlessly controlled via vertical movements of the thumb, whereby an unprecedented expressive force is achieved.

If you are already playing a wind instrument, you will be able to deal with the Sylphyo within a very short time. The fingering is based on the arrangement of a recorder. Further handling setups, such as those common to clarinets and saxophones, are in preparation and can be installed as firmware updates in the future. You want to re-calibrate the Sylphyo, transpose semitones or change the grip techniques? These changes are possible within a few quick button presses.

After main operation of the Sylphyo has been set, sub-functions can be addressed, which are displayed on the screen and changed over the octave switch. Transposition, played note, volume, performance parameters, MIDI channel and the battery level are always adjustable.

Thanks to cordless data transmission, there is no annoying cable hanging from the Sylphyo to reduce freedom of movement. The transmitter is already installed in the unit. Only the receiver must be connected to the computer via USB.
