This one-track stereo looper is perfect for the player who simply needs to drop loops in and out over the course of a live performance, a three-hour storage memory providing more than enough room, which can be split between as many as 99 separate save spaces.
A simple and fast selection knob allows you to quickly cycle through and find the loop you want, over which you can happily overdub from the second you stomp on the pedal.
For the more ambitious players who need even more space, a USB connection allows you to save the loops to computer and even import/export WAV files, which opens up the whole new possibility of overdubbing looped samples. Boss RC-3 Loop Station Pedal Best compact looper on the market, and at 159 its a great price for what you get, Im not a loop performer, I have this on my board for when a riff happens it can be captured and stored straight away, no more forgetting riffs. The operation is simple and the footprint on the board is small. Love it.
Big sounds in a small package. I remember having a RC-50 and being turned off it eventually because it was very big. This is no such problem with the RC-3 as its the size of a normal Boss pedal. The looping and rhythm functions work very well here in comparison to the others that Ive had (not just Boss). The running time has been great as it can go all day (at least when I play it!) Great all-round looper.
The Boss RC-3 is a great practice tool. Just record something and play over it, or layer over it :P
Or just put your own backing tracks in there from the USB port.
The drums beats are not that great but I find that the 3rd and 4th one are good for guitar. Simple and solid beats.
I love the feature when you step on it and it starts recording when you start playing. Takes the hassle of being ready at the exact time you step on it.

Its just amazing. Its a looper like it says on the box with an incredible sound. But the drums really add to it. Instead of loading like 50 drum patterns it just has 7 which is more than enough. The tap tempo is a really nice feature and the ability to store loops is just spectacular. Its just great.
An essencial tool for every musician. The RC-30 allows a musician to practice by himself and its size makes it easy to carry. Despite its size, the loop functions works very well. A great quality for a low price. Simple but awesome.
