The Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5 PF Metalflake Aquamarine combines a successful modern-retro design with the trendy multiscale construction to the perfect E-Bass for the modern styles of rock and metal. While the mahogany body and the bolt-on maple neck promise a warm sound, the scales increasing from 34" to 37" guarantee a tighte output of every note even with drop tunings. Managed with the help of a 4-way rotary switch and traditional passive circuitry with volume and tone controls, three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups deliver multi-faceted tones with high assertiveness. Lightweight Hipshot bass tuners and a Dingwall Solo Bridges complete the features of Dingwall's D-Roc Standard 5 PF Metalflake Aquamarine E-Bass.

The mahogany body and "Medium Thin C" maple neck of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard are quad-bolted together.
Multiscale construction
The heart of the Dingwall D-Roc's elegant modern-retro design is undoubtedly its multiscale construction, which allows each string to vibrate with an optimized scale length between 34" (864 mm) for the G and 37" (940 mm) for the B. Accordingly, the five-string convinces even with drop tunings with a defined and powerful representation of every note played. In addition to the swingingly styled mahogany body with raised center section, the 5-string Bass also features a bolt-on maple neck whose slim "Medium Thin C" profile promises optimal playing characteristics on the 20-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard.
With three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups and a 4-way passive circuit with volume control and treble cutoff, D-Roc delivers versatile bass tones.
Dingwall FD-3N pickups and passive circuitry
Three passive Ding wall FD-3N pickups with powerful neodymium magnets are used as pickups on the Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5 3PU, combining a smooth sound development with the right amount of bite and assertiveness. The 4-way rotary switch calls up the pickup in different combinations, so that the five-string bass guitar comes up with both traditional vintage sounds and modern tones at the bass amplifier. In addition to the volume control, the classic passive circuit of the Dingwall D-Roc provides a treble slider to adjust the Bass sound.
On the compact headstock of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard, five lightweight Hipshot bass machine heads provide accurate and stable tuning.
High-quality hardware
Last but not least, high-quality hardware perfectly tailored to the Bass completes the Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5 3PU PF Metalflake Aquamarine. On the compact headstock, the strings are guided accordingly with a straight course to the Hipshot Ultralite bass machine heads, which not only guarantee a stable and precise Tuning of the four-stringer, but also counteract head heaviness. On the body, the solidly built Dingwall Solo Bridge also promises optimal adjustment of intonation and string action.
